Opened in Trieste in 1805 by Giuseppe de Leitenburg, the founder of the family that has run the business for seven generations, Farmacia de Leitenburg già all' Ercole trionfante is one of the city’s historic pharmacies. Located in the historic Palazzo Diana, the pharmacy in the centre of Trieste retains its understated, elegant early-20th-century furnishings in full Mitteleuropean style.
Continuing its pharmaceutical tradition, the pharmacy has an in-house laboratory for preparing compounded, prescription and officinal medicines.
